The Board has been further strengthened with the company’s Sales and Product Manager, John Cochrane, being appointed Sales Director. One further appointment of a high profile, non-executive Director is expected in due course.

Renowned agri-businessman, Drew Sloan, joins the company as a consultant. The Ayr-based entrepreneur has taken a two-year break from the cattle breeding sector since he sold his majority shareholding in Semex UK to former business partners in December 2005.

John Cochrane’s appointment as Sales Director follows 14 years of involvement with World Wide Sires UK (formerly Semen World) in various management roles. The Board of World Wide Sires UK will continue to benefit from the expertise of Livestock Director, Bryan Challenor, and a further non-executive director is expected to be appointed within the next few weeks, according to World Wide Sires UK’s Managing Director, Marion Challenor.
