By: According to the quarterly livestock report from Brazil's Agência de Notícias (IBGE), milk production rose 3.9% over last year, but declined 2.8% over the previous quarter.
Raw milk acquisition made by establishments that operate under some kind of sanitary inspection (federal, state or municipal) reached 5.72 billion litres in the 2nd quarter of 2023.
Milk value increased 3.9% over the 2nd quarter of 2022, and decreased 2.8% over the previous quarter.
