One Year Anniversary of Mad Cow

CANADA - One year ago this week the Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced an Alberta cow had tested positive for mad cow disease. Cattle prices were beginning to show a slight improvement when the industry was rocked by news in December that a second cow in Washington State with B-S-E was confirmed as Alberta-born. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the cause in both cases is likely contaminated feed.
