U.S. Says Japan's New BSE Test Rules Too Strict, Yomiuri Says

The U.S., which wants Japan to lift a ban on imports of its beef, has criticized a Japanese plan to eliminate a requirement to test cattle younger than 21 months because it is still too strict, the Yomiuri newspaper reported.
