Beef industry concerns over US exports to Japan

In the beef industry, they're still talking about the deal for US beef to get back into Japan, after last year's BSE ban. 'Disappointing' was how cattle futures traders in the US described the weekend deal, and the market fell by one per cent overnight. Jack Weaver is a trader on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. He says the market is banking on US beef taking some time to get back into Japan, and he says contracts for further out fared best.
