Healthy Exports
AUSTRALIA - Australia continues to fill the gap in the Japanese market left by the absence of U.S. beef. Exports of Australian beef to Japan were again strong in October, reaching a record 35,610 metric tons shipped during the month, according to Meat and Livestock Australia. Exports were up by 24 percent compared with October 2003 and 14 percent compared with September 2004.Source: MeatNews.com
