Officials Still Looking for Cows from Canadian BSE Herd

CANADA - Government officials in Canada and the United States are tracing six cows shipped into the United States from the same Canadian herd as a cow recently found to be infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy. The infected cow was born within one-year of the others. USDA spokesman Ed Loyd said that the agency is tracking their movements. USDA is sending nine inspectors to Canada next week in response to the latest case of BSE, Loyd said.
