Investigation into the year's first case of BSE now closed

Canadian officials have completed their investigation into one of the most recent cases of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) to hit that country in 2005. Chief Veterinarian Dr. Brian Evans told reporters on Monday that the country’s Food Inspection Agency was considering the BSE case confirmed on January 2, as officially closed.
