Canadian delegation returning to U.S. to lobby for open border to cattle

CANADA - A Canadian delegation is heading back to Washington on Monday, to keep the pressure on the U.S. with the border about to re-open to Canadian cattle. The ministers of agriculture from several provinces will be lobbying officials in the U.S. The federal government is part of the same effort. B.C. Agriculture Minister John Van Dongen says he hopes to clear up any misconceptions U.S. officials may have about the safety of imports of livestock and meat products from Canada.
