U.S. politicians bidding to block mad cow deal

US - A group of American politicians have gone to court seeking an injunction to keep the border closed to Canadian cattle, citing risks to public health and the economy. North Dakota Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem and Montana Attorney General Mike McGrath have filed a brief in U.S. District Court in Billings, Mont. in support of the Ranchers Cattlemen Action Legal Fund's request for an injunction to stop the scheduled reopening next month.
