Brazil's BRF begins operation in Saudi Arabia plant

Its goal is to process 1,200 tonnes/month

Brazil food processor BRF on Thursday said it started operations at its plant in Saudi Arabia, an important market for the company in the Middle East, reported Reuters

The company said it invested $18 million in a plant in the city of Dammam with a goal to raise processing capacity to 1,200 tonnes per month.

BRF is one of the world's largest processors of animal protein, including dairy.
