CME update: cattle futures advance as demand remains steady

US live cattle futures rose on 28 October as domestic demand remains steady.

Reuters reports that CME December live cattle futures rose 0.625 cent to 104.675 cents per pound. January feeder cattle jumped 1.525 cents to 129.950 cents per pound and reached their highest price since 16 October.

On Thursday 29 October, traders will review weekly US export sales data for signs of improved or diminished demand from China.
