Netherlands diagnosed its first case of vCJD

THE NETHERLANDS - A recent report shows that a Dutch woman was diagnosed with human mad cow disease and becomes the first case in Netherlands. A 26-year-old woman at a hospital in Utrecht was diagnosed with the human form of the fatal brain-wasting disease, bovine spongiform encephalopathy. More than 77 Dutch cows have been infected with BSE in the Netherlands since 1997.
