Anthrax Outbreak Among Cattle in Lesotho

SOUTH AFRICA - The Veterinary Authority of Lesotho has reported three anthrax outbreaks to the World Health Organisation for Animal Health, after 24 cattle died of the bacteria-born disease.

In a statement, the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries said the first case was recorded on 12 May.
