A few shareholders stood up one after another demanding explanations on increases in expenditure, and other costs incurred, The Fiji Times Online reports.

The shareholders made a stand not to adopt the 2016 financials that resulted in this motion going into a formal vote.

Voting is now taking place at the Vunimono Hall, with the ballot paper now carrying extra motions, which includes whether shareholders agree to accept the company's audited financial accounts.
