U.S. Supports Change in BSE Guidelines

US - The U.S. government has decided to support a World Organization for Animal Health proposal to approve worldwide trade in almost all boneless muscle cuts of beef even if there is a risk of bovine spongiform encephalopathy or mad cow disease in the country of origin, according to documents linked to the USDA website.
