Ministerial decree concerning phosphate reduction plan in force from 1 March

On 17 February 2017, the Ministry of Economic Affairs announced the Phosphate Reduction Plan Decree 2017, which will come into force on 1 March 2017.

This ministerial decree is part of the 2017 phosphate reduction package of measures.

It is expected that the coming into force as a result of this package of measures will reduce milk production and thereby, re-balance milk supply and availability of owned and hired processing capacity.
