The imported quantities of this product (milk powder, milk creams and dairy fats used as inputs) have also decreased to 358,943 tons against 372,126 tons, a decline of nearly 3.54 per cent, said the National Centre of Data Processing and Statistics of the Customs (CNIS).

This decrease in the import bill is driven by not only the decline in imported quantities but also the drop in milk import prices by Algeria.
