Friesland Campina Maintains Milk Price for February

EUROPE - Dutch dairy cooperative Friesland Campina has set its guaranteed price for raw milk for February 2016 at 29.25 euros per 100 kilogrammes of milk, remaining at the same level as in January 2016.

The company said the guaranteed price for reflects the estimated milk prices of the benchmark companies for the month of February. Market developments are relatively stable.

The protein price in January 2016 is 477.47 euros, the fat price is 238.74 euros and the lactose price is 47.75 euros per 100 kilogrammes.

The guaranteed price applies to 100 kilogrammes of milk with a protein content of 3.47 per cent, a fat content of 4.41 per cent and a lactose content of 4.51 per cent and is exclusive of VAT. The amounts shown apply to an average supply of 600,000 kilogrammes of milk annually.
