US reveals second mad-cow case

US - The United States has confirmed its second case of mad cow disease after tissue samples from a suspect animal tested positive for BSE at a lab in England. USDA secretary Mike Johanns confirmed the positive test results but assured the public and worried markets that the diseased animal was blocked from the food supply, and that US firewalls to protect feed and food were working.
