The ‘food chain approach’ will step up standards and hygiene in milking equipment, milk collection and health work within the dairy herd.

Zoonotic diseases are at the heart of health plans, with health surveys to be distributed across farms.

Veterinary involvement has been highlighted by organising body SENSA (The National Agriculture Health Service).

Principle dairy regions are being targeted; namely, Santa Fe, Cordoba, Buenos Aires, La Pampa and Entre Rios.
