Butter however reported a major drop for the second consecutive day, losing four cents to $1.5300.

Wednesday’s bidding action has left Blocks ahead as part of a 3.25 cent gap in cheese values.

Cheese futures also increased, showing small gains after finishing up to $1.7860.

The futures market showed mixed performance as Class III October milk gained three cents, Class IV remained static at $20.30.

Nonfat Dry Milk reported small gains, closing up from $1.8300, where it had been all week, to $1.8350. The general lack of Nonfat Dry Milk trading movement has been reflected in spot market action.
