Veterinary specialists were notified after eyewitness reports found an allergic reaction on the skin of cattle, thought to be an allergic reaction to ‘moldy feed’.

Samples were sent to Dr Pakdil Nihat of the Ministry for Agriculture for Rural Affairs after two animals died from a fever that was spreading through the herd of fifteen.

Control measures are now in place with a vaccination to follow.
