Daily Dairy Trading: Cheese Drops, Tuesday As July Milk Lifts 3 Cents

US – Following six trades for both weights of cheese, CME reports drops of 1.25 cents in Block prices and two cents for Barrels.

Prices have been posted at $1.6625 and $1.6425 respectively meaning a two cent spread between cheese weights.

After little vending activity, butter remains unchanged for the week on $1.5250.

Likewise, both standards of non-fat dry milk have stayed put on $1.7400 (Grade A) and $1.7100 (Extra Grade), 0.75 cents ahead of last week’s averages.

Near term July futures trading saw Class III milk close up three cents to $17.30 and Class IV close on $19.09.
