ARGENTINA – Figureheads from the agricultural sector have stressed the importance of the national animal health bodies working with farmers and veterinarians for the success of the national bovine tuberculosis programme.

Addressing a news conference on Wednesday, Jose Luis Clemente, Vice President of the Rural Society and Centre for Genetics stated that this was key in controlling and eradicating Tb.
Also at the conference, were a host of National Animal Health and Food Safety (SENASA) executives who pledged to collaborate with the Rural Society to bring farmers and veterinarians together and form local technical committees to monitor progress.
