Daily Dairy Trading: Offers For Cheese Crash, June Milk Largely Unchanged

US – Some substantial decreases in spot prices were seen for Cheddar and Butter on Monday, headed by Barrels which dropped four cents.

This follows last week’s slide which saw Barrels lose 5.5 cents. At the end of yesterday’s trading Barrels closed on $1.6775, behind Blocks which closed down 3.75 cents on $1.6875.

Butter also finished lower, with an offer for $1.4750 – down 2.5 cents.

Both standards of Non-dry fat milk remained unchanged.

June futures saw little change for Class III milk ($18.03) and Class IV ($18.94).
