The routine inspection, carried out on milk stored in silos, tested the milk of dairy processor Indulac and was carried out by the Ecuadorian Agency for Quality Assurance, overseen by the Ministry of Health and Interior and the Ministry of Agriculture.

Abnormalities in the milk related to ‘protein stability’ and ‘relative density’ with the Ministry of Agriculture stating other signs of tampering were evident.

The response is part of Regulation Control and Production Chain of Milk and it Derivatives and is officially published in gazette 25.

Further test results will be issued later this week.
