Brasil Foods, Carbery Group Partner to Process Whey
BRAZIL - Brasil Foods and the Carbery Group have joined together to process whey proteins.

The partnership will see an equal 50 per cent share for each company, involves a total investment of $50 million.
The construction of a new processing plant to produce the whey (a by-product of cheese) is expected to begin soon with the aim of being fully operational by 2014.. The ingredients produced at the plant, which include other high nutritional value products, will be used by consumers in infant formula and sports nutrition.
