Three Million Cattle Vaccinated for FMD in Ecuador
ECUADOR - The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock has vaccinated over three million cattle for foot and mouth disease (FMD) over the last month.

This completes the first phase of a vaccination programme supported by the Ministry to eradicate the disease.
Between the 28 May and 1 July the first phase was undertaken. The second phase will see more cattle vaccinated, and it is hoped it will be completed by 11 July.
