60 Cattle Culled in TB Outbreak in Scotland
SCOTLAND, UK - 60 cattle have been culled in Scotland after an outbreak of bovine tuberculosis (TB).

The cattle were from a closed dairy herd in West Lothian. Movement restrictions have been placed on the farm.
Neighbouring farms are unaffected by the movement restrictions.
Scotland is officially free of TB, a spokesperson from the Scottish government said that this outbreak would not affect that status.
The source of the outbreak is unknown, the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratory Agency are currently investigating the case and working to trace the origin.
The last outbreak of TB was in January 2012, it is unknown as to whether that outbreak was in the same area.
