These cooperative agreements are intended to fund additional personnel, equipment, supplies, and training support activities related to the FDA ruminant feed ban (referred to as the BSE/ruminant feed ban), in State, territory, and tribal governments.

FDA anticipates providing approximately $1 million in direct plus indirect costs in support of this program in fiscal year (FY) 2008. It is anticipated that four awards will be made for up to $250,000 per award per year for up to 2 years.
