EU - CID LINES, a global player in hygiene solutions for animal husbandry, has obtained its second European Medicinal Marketing Authorisation for its new teat spray and dip "KENOSTART Spray and Dip®". This is just the beginning, a series of products that belong to the their mastitis prevention program will be put up for medicinal authorisations all over Europe.

KENOSTART Spray and Dip® has passed the mutual recognition process as a medicinal teat dip in 15 European countries last December 2007 with the following indication:
"Teat disinfection as part of a prevention strategy for mastitis in cattle".
KENOSTART Spray and Dip® contains a high, stable concentration of active iodine that gives excellent teat-protection. Kenostart Spray and Dip® is even five times more effective against mastitis-causing bacteria than established European standards. Its perfect viscosity provides an even film around the teats and the nipple orifice. Kenostart Spray and Dip® can be used for spraying and dipping the teats.
The product will be available as medicinal teat spray and dip as from now on in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Germany, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Ireland, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, Portugal and the UK.
In many European countries, concerned by this mutual recognition, it will be the first time that a teat dip is offered with a "medicinal" marketing authorisation.
