300 Milk-Cooling Units Set Up in 500 Pakistan Villages
PAKISTAN - The Livestock and Dairy Development Board (LDDB) has established as many as 300 milk-cooling units in 500 villages of the country for small and landless farmers to increase livestock productivity and help alleviate poverty in the country.

An official in the LDDB said the government had allocated a total budget of Rs 1,588 million to boost livestock farming in the country’s rural areas by adopting modern technologies of farming. He said that three districts from four provinces of the country were selected as a pilot project through village organisation.
