Canada confirms fourth mad cow case
CANADA - Canada has confirmed it has had a fourth case of mad cow disease, just as its cattle industry starts to recover from export trade bans. The US says it will keep its northern border with Canada open, despite the outbreak on a dairy farm in Alberta. US Agriculture Secretary Mike Johanns says there will be "no change in the status of beef or live cattle imports to the US from Canada" after Ottawa confirmed mad cow disease in an older animal.Source: ABC.net.au
