Dairy Farmers Of Britain Announces Milk Price Increase
UK - Dairy Farmers of Britain has today announced that its milk price will increase by 0.5 ppl. This increase will take effect from June 1, 2007.
Commenting on the announcement, Andrew Cooksey, Chief Executive, said: “This price rise has been made possible by a general uplift in the company’s trading position and by an increasing level of confidence within the marketplace”.
The milk price increase will be applied as a flat rate adjustment on all litres supplied by the company’s conventional milk producers.
