Jersey Cattle Grows In Popularity

UK - Despite a general decline in the dairy industry, the market for Jersey cow registrations has increased in both Canada and North America.

The American Jersey Cattle Association reported it has processed more than 70,000 registrations for the third successive year.

In 2006, Jersey cattle sold at auction in the US reached their third highest level in history. In Canada, registrations have increased more than 150% since 2004.
