Government, ag officials scrambling to reopen foreign beef markets

US - Because international trade makes up 10 percent of this country's annual beef sales, officials continue to work hard to reopen markets that were closed to U.S. beef products after a dairy cow was discovered to have this country's first case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE).
