U.S. eyes Alberta beef trade

WASHINGTON - Premier Ralph Klein yesterday in Washington urged U.S. officials to reopen the border to Canadian beef exports in order to solve the mad cow crisis. The Americans are considering a proposed trade rule that would allow the resumption of trade in live cattle and other ruminants like bison, sheep, goats and others.
