AUSTRALIA - The Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) launched its drought support website today in front of a group of farmers in Gippsland.

Designed to give up to date, relevant information on financial and community support, www.drought.org.au is the newest tool in farmers’ arseanals to cope with the drought.

VFF Deputy President, Meg Parkinson, said an important first step in drought repsonse was getting the right information to farmers.

“This website has been designed to save time and frustration in looking for drought support information, as everything can now be found on this one site,” Mrs Parkinson said.
