World Dairy Closes Lower For Third Consecutive Trade

GLOBAL – The Global Dairy Trade Index closed 5.2 per cent lower following today’s trading event.

This compounds 4 per cent losses on 4 March and means the price index is running at its lowest for 2014.

This was mainly down to Anhydrous Milk Fat and Rennet Casein both tumbling 10.7 per cent.

Whole Milk Powder slipped 5.8 per cent to $4,439.

The session reported 187 bidders and sold 39,008 quantities. The supply total is between 37,511 MT and 39,806 MT.
