Daily Dairy Trading: Cheese Carries Gains, Monday

US – Cheese spot prices continued the increase seen in recent weeks, both moving above the prior week average.

One unit of Cheddar barrels sold for $1.7925, up 2 cents and a Block of Cheddar traded at $1.7800, up 0.50 cents.

This was the only change seen in spot trading and continues an upwards trend in Cheese which has been seen across all commodities.

Milk closed high in the futures market with Class III August milk up seven cents to $17.96 and Class IV at leaping above Thursday’s position to move to $19.35.
