BULGARIA - Milk producers go out on protest in front of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Supply.Because of accumulated problems such as the price of forage which was higher than the price of milk, a fact concerning the consumers as well since it was making the dairy products more expensive.
According to milk producers the milk quota was with 50% lower than the produced milk quantity and this necessitated the butchering of 250 000 animals.
According to Minister Nihat Kabil however the demands of the milk producers were unreasonably high.
