Belarusv Export Dried Milk to Venezuela.
BELARUS - The Bellakt company in Volkovysk in Belarus is preparing to export a first consignment of 200 tons of dried milk to Venezuela, according to the Belta news agency.The company's acting director, Genrikh Markovsky, said that Bellakt will supply 1,000 tonnes of dried milk to the South American country. Markovsky noted that Venezuela has very high quality requirements concerning imported milk products, and that the export contract was signed after laboratory tests of Bellakt's dried milk by a Venezuelan laboratory.
Bellakt exported products worth USD30.5 million in the first nine months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 50 per cent. Exports account for around 25 per cent of the company's production.
Bellakt certified its quality management system in line with the international standard ISO 9001-2001, and introduced the HACCP international food safety management system, in 2003.
