BOSNIA - The government of Bosnia’s Muslim-Croat Federation says that the Bosnian industrial group, Teleoptic, is to invest BAM12 million (USD8.6 million) in 2008 in the upgrading of its Milkos dairy in Sarajevo, according to SeeNews. The investment will be in expanding Milkos’ milk processing unit. Teleoptic’s director, Nedim Causevic, said Milkos buys milk from around 2,500 milk producers nationwide, but needs another million litres each year for its dairy.
Milkos is planning to start selling its products on overseas markets. Teleoptic acquired a 67 per cent stake in Milkos in September 2004.
