Daily Dairy Trading: Reporters Note Drop in Class III, Thursday
US – December Class III milk plummeted to $18.92 yesterday, down eleven cents after lows of $18.82.

CME reporters noted losses up until next year’s June contract with January and February down nine and seven cents respectively.
Elsewhere, December Class IV milk moved a cent lower to $21.42, its lowest price for the week, although only marginally adrift of Monday's prices of $21.44.
In the Agricultural Marketing Service Report by the US Department of Agriculture, spot prices finished mixed with six cent losses for Butter and modest gains in Cheddar and Grade A NDM.
This continued Nonfat Dry Milk’s recovery taking the value to $1.8000, following last week’s decreases down to $1.7750.
Cheddar Blocks and Barrels both closed two cents higher to $1.9100 and $1.8000, both highs for the week.
