Daily Dairy Trading: Butter Moves Higher After Seven Trades

US - Butter recorded seven trades on Friday taking the spot price to $1.4300, one cent higher.

The increase put ended losses from Tuesday to Thursday and moved trades to eight for the week to close a four days of trading following Labor Day.

Cheddar bids came in at 2.75 higher than previous calls with final shouts at $1.8100 for Blocks and $1.8000 for Barrels.

A single bid pushed Non-fat Dry Milk one cents higher to $1.8150.

In the futures market, Non-far Dry Milk flatlined through the week on $1.7995 offering no movement on the September contract in the futures market.

Class III September milk pushed three cents up to $18.06 building on gains each day. Class IV milk stayed unchanged on $19.42.
