Agricultural Bank Finances Dairy Plant in Kaluga

RUSSIA - The Russian Agricultural Bank, Rosselkhozbank, is helping to finance a new dairy plant in the Kaluga region.

The SEC farm "Moscow" has commissioned a dairy plant with a production capacity of 30 tonnes a day of processed milk.

The Rosselkhozbank finance will be focused on the construction and installation work and purchase of equipment as part of the investment project for the construction of cattle-breeding complex for 1,200 head of dairy cattle and the modernisation of dairy.

The bank is putting forward loans of up to 474 million rubles.

The new plant is being equipped with high-tech automated processing equipment.

The latest equipment will process up to 30 tonnes of milk to produce six types of dairy products: milk and several kinds of yogurt, drinkable yogurt, cream, cottage cheese and butter.

The products are expected to be seen on store shelves in the Kaluga region, Moscow and Moscow region in the near future.
