Daily Dairy Trading: Spot Cheese Trades Move Higher, Thursday

US – Cheese spot prices were the only changes after a limited trading day.

Thursday saw Barrels gain four cents up to $1.7600 and Blocks lift one cent to $1.7825.

July Cheese edged higher to $1.7110 up from $1.7100 from Wednesday’s price.

No change in spot butter leaves recent bids over 4 cents adrift of last week’s average.

The opposite can be said for both Cheese quantities which have retailed over four cents higher than the last week’s average of $1.6810 for Barrels and $1.6980 for Blocks.

July Milk futures altered marginally with Class III creeping up 0.01 cents to $17.36. Contrastingly, Class IV

July milk dropped again in the week by four cents to $18.95.

August Class III closed at $18.03, up three cents.
