Watertown Daily reports that cattle housing was engulfed in flames, when the blaze was discovered at 4 am.

The fire was so advanced that there was no opportunity to evacuate cattle.

The blaze was believed to have erupted at the west end of the structure, where chopped hay was stored. Although the cause is said to be undetermined, an investigator said spontaneous combustion is suspected.
