Changes To Milk Management Quotas
FRANCE - The French Agricultural Ministry has said that milk producers are able to exceed their 2011/2012 milk quota by up to two per cent, without being penalised.

In October 2011, it was announced that smaller producers (up to 170,000 litres) can exceed their quota by up to 10,000 litres.
Minister Bruno Le Maire said that these measures will allow producers to take advantage of the strong dairy markets that have been seen.
